On loan striker Ruairí Keating will be hoping to add to his Harps account as the Donegal side prepare for Sunday’s SSE Airticity League meeting with Shamrock Rovers B.

The game will mark Harps’ first ever senior game at the Tallaght Stadium.

Harps opened their league campaign with a battling draw with Waterford United last Friday night before getting the better of Cockhill Celtic in the EA Sports League Cup in Ballybofey on Monday.

Keating was on the mark in that 3-2 victory and after that game, the on-loan Sligo Rovers front man said he was delighted to get among the goals.

“It was a nice feeling,” he said afterwards. “The ball dropped and I had a job to do - put it in the net.

“It’s a team game and it isn’t about any individuals. I’m just grateful that we got through it and into the next round.

“I’m loving it here. It’s early stages. I’d been working hard in pre-season and was looking forward to getting the League started. I want to keep working hard for the club and keep enjoying myself.

“I worked with Ollie when I played with the Irish Schools team. Ollie is a good guy, he’s very straight and he looks after me well. Everyone wants to work hard for Ollie.

“It’s about getting experience, getting game time and I’m grateful for getting that chance. Being able to come up here and get football is brilliant. I want to show people what I’m all about.”

Sunday’s game kicks off at 3pm. On Friday night, Waterford United and Galway drew 0-0 while Wexford Youths got their first win of the season with a 3-2 victory over Cobh Ramblers.
