Letterkenny Rovers U-14s 3
Kilmacrennan Celtic U-14s 1
Rovers went in at the break 3-0 up. Their opening goal came from a long distant drive from Rovers midfielder Conor O’Donnell. They increased their lead midway through the first half when Michael Gallagher converted a penalty and just before the half time interval Clinton Ilupeju gave Kilmac’s goalkeeper Kiran Black no chance when he scored a fine goal from 20 yards out.
Celtic were the better team in the early stages of the restart and they got their reward when substitute Stephen Blake fired home from 6 yards out after a well worked move down the left hand side. Kilmacrennan were unable to add to this goal as a well organised Rovers defence held firm for the remainder of the game.
