Drumkeen United continued their flawless start to the new Ulster senior League season with a win over Finn Harps on Monday evening.

Drumkeen United 2

Finn Harps 1

Harps went into the lead on 30 minutes when the home defence failed to clear and the ball landed at the foot of Paul McVeigh, who fired home from 10 yards.

Harps’ lead was short lived as from the kick-off Drumkeen’s Mark Marley passed to Richard Moore and he found Gavin Reilly on the edge of the box and he hit a unstoppable shot in to the top corner.

Drumkeen went in front on the 75th minute when Eunan Kelly scored a penalty past young Harps keeper Shaun Patton to give the home team a 2-1 win.
