Banbridge Town turned this game with Annagh United around to take all three points and secure their third win in as many outings this season.

Annagh assumed control early on and Murphy headed a McCann cross over in the 10th minute while they were unlucky four minutes later when a cracking Brown effort came off Town’s crossbar and was scrambled clear.

However two minutes later the same player was not to be denied when he got his head to a free kick from the left wing and steered his effort past a diving Stephen Cairnduff to put the visitors 1-0 ahead.

Just when Town thought they had weathered the storm Banbridge were dealt a further blow on 36 minutes when Francis McCann rose well to direct another header out of Cairnduff’s reach to put the visitors into what seemed a comfortable 2-0 lead.

But the locals reduced the arrears after 48 minutes through Conor Downey, who found himself unmarked from an immaculate Paul Walsh right wing cross to give Blevins no chance from 10 yards.

Then on 74 minutes Town levelled matters at 2-2 thanks entirely to Conor Downey who chased and took the ball off the full back on the corner flag and found Mattie McCartan with a neat pass. The head-bandaged McCartan then played a quick ball to inrushing Mark Teggart who blasted under Blevins for the equaliser.

Five minutes later Town were in front when Teggart again rose to flick a Downey free kick over the stranded Blevins with a despairing defender only succeeding in helping the ball on its way to the net.

The game had gone two minutes into injury time when a terrible mix up 20 yards from Town’s goal allowed Shea Campbell to capitalise and the ace goalscorer raced in to blast past Cairnduff to make it 3-3.

However Town attacked and forced a last ditch corner and in the 94th minute up stepped substitute Gary Boyle to swing over the corner and Conor Downey met the cross with his head at the far post and scored a fantastic winner.
