Letterkenny Rovers cruise into quarter-finals of FAI Youth Cup

Letterkenny Rovers produced an excellent performance to book their place in the quarter-finals of the FAI Youth Cup at the expense of Swords Celtic at the Aura Centre this afternoon.

Joson Doherty opened the scoring for Anthony Gorman’s side on 26 minutes and six minutes later it was 2-0 when Aaron Scanlon scored from the edge of the area. Kieran McPherson sealed the win 20 minutes from time when he tucked in off the base of the post following a ball out of defence by the impressive Dale Gorman.
