Huge demand for limited edition memorabilia

Only this week, well-known photographer Brian McDaid, proprietor of the Cristeph Gallery in Letterkenny, has reported a phenomenal interest in a limited edition framed Donegal jersey and montage of photographs of All-Ireland day signed by the All-Ireland winning panel and management that went on sale at the weekend.

The special edition jersey and signed framed photographs was launched last weekend by All-Ireland winning captain Michael Murphy, with club and county colleagues Neil Gallagher and Gary McFadden, as well as county treasurer Grace Boyle. And since the launch the demand has been almost unbelievable with inquiries and orders being received from right around the world.

“The demand has been very high since the launch and way beyond our expectations,” said Brian, who is selling both the jersey and the photographs from his premises.

“As well as local interest, we have also received inquires and orders from all corners of the world. We even had a number of inquiries from as far away as Hong Kong and Australia. It has been unbelievable and has really taken us by surprise.”

With stocks of both items running out fast the advice from Brian, is get your orders in and don’t delay as it is very much a case of first come, first served basis.

Both items are on sale exclusively from the Cristeph Gallery, which is situated at the junction of Lower Main St/ Convent Road, in Letterkenny. Orders are also being taken over the telephone by calling 074-9126411.

The Donegal players and manager Jim McGuinness, who are currently in the US as part of the 2011 / 2012 All- Star Football tour to New York, have also taken a number of the jerseys and photographs with them to the US for presentation at a number of fund-rasing events in New York, Philadelphia, Chicago and Boston.

Proceeds of this wonderful piece of All Ireland success memorabilia will go to the Donegal training fund.
