The 18th annual Four Masters G.A.A. Club/Frank Muldoon Memorial Golf Event took place at Donegal Golf Club on Wednesday last July 4th with an Open Singles Stableford Competition.
On a day of fine scoring from the 118 entries in the competition, a neighbouring club man from St. Naul’s now resident in the Four Masters area, Paul Gillespie posted an impressive score of 43pts to claim the Frank Muldoon Memorial Cup.
Four Masters G.A.A. Club Chairman, Sean Dunnion, welcomed everybody to the presentation of prizes in particular, Sean Diver, Captain of Donegal Golf Club, Ronan and Niall Muldoon who represented the Muldoon family and the members of both Donegal Golf Club and Four Masters G.A.A. Club present. He thanked Donegal Golf Club for their great help in staging the competition and Rooney’s Centra who very generously sponsored the event again this year. He also thanked Michael Griffin (The RAW Studio) who also sponsored a prize.
Niall Muldoon spoke on behalf of the Muldoon family and then along with his brother Ronan presented the Frank Muldoon Memorial Cup and commemorative medal to Paul Gillespie. The full list of winners were as follows:
