The U-12s traveled to Ardara for a blitz on Saturday and gave a very good account of themselves, Dungloe had two teams involved so well done to all. Well done to David Sweeney and Darragh Mc Gee on making the County U-16 panel.

AN TEARMANN: The senior ladies game against Donegal Town was cancelled as Four Masters could not field. This weekend the junior ladies face Muff in the junior league at the Burn Road at 12 noon.

Our men had another busy weekend beginning with the visit of St Naul’s on Friday evening. A late goal from Brian McCabe swung the results St Naul’s way. Ollie Doherty and Shaun O’Donnell were best for Termon. This weekend both teams host Carndonagh on Saturday evening at 6pm and 7.30pm.

The lotto numbers were 1, 3, 19 and 28. Conor Ferguson matched three numbers and won €80. Open draw winners were Samantha Rankin, Steve McElwaine and John Friel who all won €10 each.

AODH RUADH: The seniors beat Naomh Columba 4-4 to 0-10 on Friday and the reserves won by four points before losing in Buncrana, 1-9 to 1-8. We are at home this Saturday against Urris at 6pm and 7.30pm.

The minors scored their second win of the league campaign with a 2-12 to 1-7 home win over Ardara. Next is the away game to Naomh Conaill on Friday.

Aodh Ruadh U-16s booked their place in the Southern Minor Board league final with a 3-10 to 1-12 victory over Naomh Conaill in Dunkineely on Monday evening. The regional finalagainst Killybegs, takes place next Monday at 7pm in Mountcharles.

Earlier in the week the U-16s earned a 6-14 to 1-1 first leg preliminary round win over Four Masters in the championship.

Aodh Ruadh hosted the annual Sean Slevin tournament.

There were a lot of good performances from Aodh Ruadh’s U-12s in the Go Games blitz against Bundoran.

Congratulations to Creevy National School who have reached the Donegal county final in the Roinn 3 section of the Cumann na mBunscoil competition.

A basic coaching course for anyone interested in underage coaching has been organised for this Saturday from 12 noon till 3 pm. Contact Tracey 086-1764998.

The U-14 hurlers played Letterkenny Gaels on Thursday last in Páirc Aoidh Ruaidh. They play Carndonagh on Thursday evening, while another long trip is in store on Saturday when they travel to Slaughtneil in Derry to take part in the Féile Uladh.

CILL CHARTHA: Some of winners were Michelle McBrearty €95, Letty Doherty €70, Marie Cunningham €70, Jenny Gallagher €70, Carmel McGinley €70, Patricia O’Gara €125, Patricia Cunningham €120, Ann Breslin €200.

The winning numbers were 5,11,20,22. Drawn prizes were €50 – Frank McGee, Ardara. €30 – Aine Cunningham, Malinmore. €20 – Ella Carr, Meenacannon. Senior and reserve teams play Glenswilly away this Sunday in their league fixtures. The ladies played Muff on Sunday, final score 9-6 Muff 0-7. Next game is away to Lifford on Sunday. The U-16 were defeated on Monday evening last final score CCF 1-7 Naomh Colmcille 2-10.

The Minors play St Eunan’s on Friday at home at 7.30pm.

ERNE GAELS: The U-14 boys who were defeated by Irvenstown in the Feile last Wednesday, but they bounced back with a comprehensive victory in the league against St Joseph’s, Ederney, 8-13 to 1-4. Our junior men beat Belnaleck 3-14 to 1-6. Our seniors won at Teemore 2-7 to 3-11, while the ladies were defeated by Devenish.

The minor boys are away to Roslea on Thursday at 7pm, the junior men are away to Tempo thirds on Friday at 7.45pm, Erne Gaels would like to wish condolences to the Keown and Dagnum families, Belleek, on their recent bereavements.

No winner but the lotto numbers were 1, 3, 17 and 24. The lucky dip winners were Brian McGee, Marc McMenamin, Kathleen Moran.

FOUR MASTERS: The €50 winners in the Annual Lotto for Week 41 were Stephen Dolan, c/o Michael Kelly and Damien Timoney, Castle Street. The numbers drawn were 7, 14, 15 and 23.

Registrar Michael Martin will be in the Abbey Hotel next Monday night at 8.30 pm to accept outstanding Adult Membership fees.

Congratulations to the five U-12 hurlers from Four Masters who represented their club and county recently in Croke Park during the Easter holidays. They included Joseph Gillespie, Cathal M Glynn, Philip Myers, Cathal Feeney and Cathal Canavan. Following a guided tour of the museum the boys ran onto the hallowed ground to the sound of the Artane Boys Band and the rapturous applause of 80,000 people, well maybe a few less.

GAEIL FHANADA: Numbers drawn 3, 5, 9, 14, 16 Bonus 3. No jackpot winner. €100 Noel Dougherty, Kerrykeel. €50 Maire McAteer, Rinmore. GAEIL LEITIR CEANNAIN: The seniors and reserves were free last weekend. This weekend they play Naomh Mhuire, Convoy, on Saturday evening with throw-in times at 6pm and 7.30pm. The minors are at home to Termon on Friday at 7pm. The U-16s completed their league fixtures on Sunday evening with a good win over neighbours Glenswilly. The team now advance to the Shield semi-final.

The U-14 girls team were defeated by a strong St Eunans team during the week although the girls battled well. The U-8 hurlers travelled to Gweedore for a blitz last Sunday. Lotto numbers were 5, 6, 8 and 11. Match three winner was Seamus Patton, Friends of the Gaels.

GLEANN FHINNE: There was no winners of last week’s lotto jackpot. The sellers for next week are Kathleen McGlynn (Captain), Paul McCrudden, Ann McGinty, Seamus Ward, Sean F Marley, Packie Moy, Gareth Martin, Michael McDermott, Helen Mc Glynn, Bridgeen Bonner.

The U-15 side will play Glenswilly on Thursday at 7.15pm in the Gaeltachta competition. The U-16s defeated Robert Emmetts last Monday evening by 12 points. A win this week against Naomh Padraig, Lifford, would leave them in the shake-up for the shield semi-finals.

The minors  face Convoy in Pairce Taobhoige on Friday at 7pm start. The U-14 girls will play host to Glenswilly on Tuesday night with a 6.30pm start.

MILORD: This week’s Lotto Numbers were 2, 4, 10 and 23. Five match three get €15 each. Pat O’Donnell Lifford, Michael McBride Kilmacrennan, Gerry McGee, Mark McFadden, Ramelton and Vera Matthewson Milford.

The senior team returned to winning way’s last Saturday evening with a one point win over Convoy on a scoreline of 14 points to 13. Best for Milford were the two Curley brothers, Pauric and David, and Manus Boyce. They play Lifford at home on Saturday at 7.30.

The senior ladies played a challenge game against reigning senior champions Glenfin on Sunday and although they were beaten they can be proud of the way they played. They led for most of the first half and played some outstanding football in the process. In the second half Glenfins, experience and ability came to the fore and they ran out winners in the end. The girls can take great heart from their performance and they showed that they have the ability to compete at the highest level. They return to league action on Sunday with a home game against Glenties.

NA CEALLA BEAGA: The Killotto had no winner this week. The numbers were 5, 6, 18 and 29. There was one winner of match three numbers - Antonie O’Harat O’Donnell, Fintra Road, Killybegs.

The seniors drew away to Naomh Mhuire on Friday night and responded with a home win against Fanad on Sunday. The reserves had no game over the weekend. This Sunday both teams travel to Naomh Brid at 1.30pm and 3pm. The minor team also play Naomh Brid away on Friday night at 7pm.

The ladies played their first league game against Naomh Columba last Sunday and lost on a scoreline of 5-11 to 4-11. They are due to play away to Bundoran this coming Sunday. The ladies held their bag-packing fundraiser and wish to thank the management and staff of SuperValu and all their customers.

There is a club meeting at 8.30pm on Friday in the clubhouse. The U-16’s were defeated by Ardara in first leg of championship on Monday and Killybegs. They play Ardara in the second leg meeting in Ardara next Monday.

The U-12’s were in action last Saturday in Ardara in the Divisional Blitz. The U-14’s were defeated last Wednesday by our neighbours Kilcar by two points in Towney.

There is a talent competition on in the Harbour Bar on Saturday, April 28 - €1,000 prizes and proceeds go to the Killybegs GAA.

NAOMH ADHAMHNÁIN: It was a good weekend for the senior and reserve footballers with both teams coming out of a two-game weekend with full points, with wins over Gweedore and Glenswilly. Both teams will take on Dungloe in O’Donnell Park this Sunday at 1:30pm and 3pm. The Juniors had no game last week and this week looks like another free week for them.

The hurlers lost in their Ulster Táin League Division Four semi-final against Mattock Rangers of Louth, 3-6 to 0-14. The minor footballers travel to Cloughaneely on Friday with a 7pm throw-in.

The U-16 Football Division One boys beat MacCumhaills in the Shield final, 1-12 to 0-5.

The minor hurlers play away to Buncrana this Thursday. The U-14 hurlers are at home to Buncrana. The U-14 Hurlers play away in the Ulster Feile this Saturday.

There were two winners in this week’s lotto draw. They matched three numbers and win €50 each. The numbers drawn were 6, 15, 16 and 17. Olivia Kelly, Foxhills (Adrian) and Rosemary Hannigan, Magherennan (card).

NAOMH BRID: There was mixed fortunes for both senior and Reserve teams over the weekend against Naomh Mhuire at Pairc Naomh Brid. In the reserve match a second half Naomh Mhuire goal helped them to a 1-4 to 0-3 victory. The seniors won 0-11 to 1-4. Both teams play Killybegs this Sunday in Pairc Naomh Brid at 1.30pm and 3pm. The U-16 boys defeated Na Rossa on Monday evening in Glenties in the divisional league semi-final on a scoreline of 5-13 to 4-15 after extra time. The lads now play Naomh Columba on Monday evening in the divisional league final. Well done to Calum Gallagher, who played the whole match for the Donegal Minors in their Ulster Minor league shield semi-final against Down on Saturday last.

NAOMH COLUMBA: Our seniors and reserves had a mixed weekend, with home defeats to Aodh Ruadh on Friday evening, followed by good wins by both teams over Na Dúnaibh on Sunday. They play Muff on Saturday at 6pm and 7.30pm in Páirc na nGael.

Our ladies recorded a good victory over Killybegs in the league opener on Sunday afternoon. They meet Cill Chartha at 12 noon in Páirc na nGael on Sunday.

Our U-16 lads recorded a one-point victory over St Naul’s in Monday evening’s divisional semi-final. This sets up a final meeting with Naomh Bríd, with the game set for next Monday evening.

On Wednesday our U-14 beat Naomh Bríd, while our minors also beat St Naul’s in Mountcharles.

Our U-14 girls were due to travel to Kilcar on Tuesday evening and they travel to Bundoran for 7.30pm. On Friday evening our minor lads host Ardara, with a 7pm throw in at Páirc na nGael, and on Saturday at 11am our U-10s play host to Naomh Ultan in a challenge match.

NAOMH CONAILL: There was no winner of last weeks lotto. The numbers drawn were 4, 13, 16 and 23. Two prizes of €50 went to Ann Byrne, Ardara, and Ann Furey, Ard McGill, Glenties. The U-10’s would like to thank all those who supported our recent hamper draw.

The U-12’s play in their final blitz of the year on Monday at 6pm when the club will host Ardara, Naomh Mhuire and Na Rossa.

The U-14’s competed in the Sean Slevin Memorial Tournament in Ballyshannon last Saturday. The U-16’s were defeated in the League Regional semi final by Aodh Ruadh 3-8 to 1-7. The minors play Aodh Ruadh in the league at home this Friday at 7pm.

The seniors continued their winning ways at the weekend with two great victories. On Friday night they recorded their first victory over neighbours Ardara by putting in a great perfofmance. Ardara 0-05 1-10 Naomh Conaill. On Sunday they had another great game and bet Dungloe on the scoreline Naomh Conaill 2-09 0-07 Dungloe.Unfortunatly things didnt go as good for the reserve team. On Friday Ardara had the better of them beating them by a point Ardara 1-12 4-02 Naomh Conaill. While on Sunday Dungloe came from behind to bet them Naomh Conaill 0-09 0-11 Dungloe. This weekend both teams are home to Gweedore on Sunday. Reserve game is at 1.30 with the senior game at 3pm.

NAOMH MHUIRE: The summer league will start on Friday at 5.30pm in the Banks. The seniors played Killybegs on Friday evening last and ended in a draw. On Sunday, the reserves beat Naomh Brid but the seniors were beaten. This weekend sees Fanad Gaels travel to the Banks on Sunday at 1.30 and 3pm. Next match for the ladies team is away to St Naul’s on Sunday with a 12 noon throw-in.

The U-14 girls had a hard earned victory over near neighbours Gaoth Dobhair on Tuesday night in the league.

Comhghairdeas dó Sarah Doherty who won two gold medals and one bronze and Ailbe O’Donnell who won Bronze at the Indoor sportshall athletics meeting in Birmingham on Saturday. Both these girls play u14 girls for Naomh Mhuire and Donegal u14 teams.

No jackpot winner. There was five match three winners: Patrick McGinley – Coilceim, Tony Doherty – Rann na Feirste, Joseph Gillespie - Mullachdubh, Madge Sharkey - Coilceim, Ailbe Ni Chomhnai - Rann na Feirste.

MacCUMHAILL’S: Our U-14 camogie beat Burt in the county Feile decider in Burt on Saturday. In a very intense and close match, MacCumhaill’s won by a point. They now go on to represent the club and county in the Feile Finals in Dublin in July.

Congratulations to the St Marys Stranorlar Boys team which won the Cumann na mBun Scoil championship on Thursday beating Gael Scoil Letterkenny, 2-10 to 3-3.

Our Senior Hurlers lost to Knockbridge, Co Louth, in the semi-finals of the Ulster League Cup on Saturday. Our U-16’s play in The Downings Bay Division One Shield final on Monday at 7pm in MacCumhaill Park against St Eunan’s.

Well done to three of our minors who have been selected for the County Minor Panel. Mark Dorrian, Stephen Mulligan and Michael Duignam will fly the flag for MacCumhaill’s.

There were no winners of the lotto this week. Numbers were 7, 8, 17 and 23. There was one match three winner. Stanley Raitt receives €150.

NA ROSSA: The seniors had a very convincing win at the weekend against Naomh Ultan. The reserves lost out to the visitors. Both teams travel to Moville at the weekend. The U-16s won 0-10 to 0-2 in Glen in the preliminary round of the championship. The U-12s hosted a blitz in Dooey also last Monday evening. Teams participating were Kilcar, Ardara, Naomh Mhuire and Na Rossa.

Good luck to the Na Rossa lads John McDyre, Christian Bonner, Odhran Molloy along with manager Declan Bonner as Donegal U-16s try and qualify for the Buncrana cup finals this weekend as they play in an Ulster blitz competing against Derry and Cavan in Ballyshannon at 12 noon.

RED HUGH’S: The winner of this weeks Lotto was Ossie Gallagher and he receives €30. The winner of the 100+ Club was PJ McGoldrick. On Friday against Muff the reserves won 2-14 to 1-13 with the seniors losing 3-12 to 0-14. On Sunday in Clonmany the reserves lost to Urris 1-8 to 1-5. The seniors had a good win on a score of 1-12 to 0-7.

The minor team are due to play away to Naomh Padraig, Lifford this Friday evening at 7pm. The U-16 team beat Malin at home on Monday 4-17 to 0-5.

The Back of the Wall 5k Challenge takes place this Sunday at 11.00am. Registration will take place on the day from 9.30am to 10.30am. Cost is €5 for an adult and €3 for children. Refreshments will be served in the clubhouse afterwards. This event is open to everyone and all are welcome. Well done to Red Hughs couple Michael and Leanne Sweeney on winning the Strictly Come Dancing in the Villa Rose on Saturday night last.

ST MICHAEL’S: The senior team recorded a good victory over Dungloe in Dungloe on Friday evening. Both the senior and reserve teams are at home to Four Masters on this Sunday with the throw ins at 1.45pm and 3pm. St Michael’s GAA club is holding a Golf Classic at Dunfanaghy Golf Club on Monday, May 7. Teams of four any combination, timesheet in operation contact the Golf Club on (074)9136335 - non, buffet served. Dance starts at 8.30pm sharp, tickets priced €12 are on sale locally or pay at the door and everyone is welcome.

There was no jackpot winner in the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto on Sunday night last the numbers drawn were 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 17, There were no match five winners, 26 people matched four and their names were drawn, the winner of the €100 was Moses Alcorn, Hornhead.

The winner of the €150 on the snowball game at the Bingo session in Dunfanaghy on Sunday night last was Evelyn Toye, Grogah, Creeslough.

ST MARY’S, CONVOY: The counties drawn were CN, FH, LD and MO. Margaret McDaid, Drumkeen; Peter Connaughton, Raphoe, and Bill Meehan, Convoy, were the winners. Congrats to Danny Harkin on his new post as Chairperson of Donegal Fundraising Committee .They hope to raise €100,000 to put towards the development of the new county facilities in Convoy.

The U-16 boys had a 1-13 to 2-06 victory over Malin and the senior reserves recorded their second victory away to Milford with a scoreline of 2-9 to 3-3 on Saturday evening. The seniors lost 0-14 to 0-13. Well done to all our underage players who played for their county teams over the weekend Fiona, Annie Rose, Ciara, Alanna and Raymie and Conor - keep up the good work!

ST NAUL’S: There was no winner of last weekend’s Slotto jackpot. The €80 euro prize for nearest to the correct sequence was shared between Anthony Byrne, c/o O’ Neill’s and Gabriel Meehan, Drimarone. The sequence was 1, 3, 6, 2, 4, 7 and 5.

Our Senior team had a hard fought important win away to Termon, 1-9 to 0-11. Unfortunately our second team were defeated by a strong Termon reserve team. This weekend both teams are at home to Buncrana on Saturday evening. On Monday evening the U-16 team were narrowly beaten in the regional league semi final by Naomh Columba in Fintra.

The senior ladies team our playing at home to Naomh Mhuire this Sunday at 12. Also this Sunday the final of the ladies fundraiser, the B Factor will take place at 7.30pm in the Lazy Bush.

TIR CHONAILL GAELS: Last Sunday the senior team completed their final group game of the Tipperary cup with a comprehensive win over the Parnells at Ruislip, TCG 2-14, Parnells. The junior team qualified for the semi finals of the Mc Cardle cup last Sunday against Eir Og from Oxford with an impressive 0-15 to 0-1 victory. After starting their campaign last week the ladies team played round two of the league against Dulwich Gaels at Greenford. The girls have been putting in a fabulous effort to date under the leadership of Daniel and Carol, and again they give their all before bowing to Dulwich by a score of 1-17 to 3-3. Well done to the Minor team after they defeated Saint Kiernans in the League by a score line of 1-11 to 1-6.

This week both the seniors and reserves travel to Mitcham to play Round Towers in round one of the league. The ladies team play Clonbony in the league.
