Trio await fate in FAI Cup

Donegal’s three entrants in the FAI Ford Senior Cup will learn their second round fate at Monday evening’s draw.

Ulster Senior League side Drumkeen United earned a bye to the second round, as did Finn Harps as an Airtricity League club. Kildrum Tigers, who defeated Clonmel Town from Tipperary last month, are also in the hat.

The draw will be made live from the Aviva Stadium on RTE2’s MNS, which screens at 7pm. The two Ulster Senior League clubs, will join the 20 Airtricity League clubs and other non-league sides Avondale United, Blarney United, Cherry Orchard, Crumlin United, Douglas Hall, Everton AFC, Malahide United, Mayfield United, Phoenix and St Patrick’s CY.

The ties will take place on either Friday, May 25 or Sunday, May 27.
