Four more Donegal boxers qualify for Ulster finals

All four qualified for the finals after winning their respective North West Zone finals in Letterkenny on Tuesday night and are now looking forward to the provincial finals which are in Tyholland, Co. Monaghan on Saturday week March 31st. In all Donegal will have 22 representative at the finals following the North West Zone finals which were held in Letterkenny, on Sunday, Bank Holiday Monday and on Tuesday night.

The championship is for boys aged 12, 13 and 14 years of age.

Meanwhile, boxing followers are in for a real treat on Friday night, when a Raphoe Boxing Club Selection host and North West All-Star Selection in their annual Billy ‘Spider’ Kelly Memorial tournament. The tournament is in the Cathedral Hall, Raphoe, with the first bell on the 14 bout card timed for 8.30 pm.
