The Aston Villa goalkeeper, who boasts 121 caps for his country, leads the Three poll with 41 per cent of the overall votes. The second player most likely to leave his mark on this year’s tournament according to Three football fans is injury stricken Richard Dunne on 24 per cent.

Of all the people who voted, just 10 per cent said super striker Robbie Keane would make the biggest impact, while 16 per cent said 22-year-old winger James McClean, and less than 4 per cent opted for Paul McShane and Damien Duff.
