Ramelton native Kyle Callan-McFadden is currently captaining the Republic of Ireland U-17 side in their Uefa European U-17 Championship elite stage qualifiers in Holland.

Then, at the same venue yesterday, Dylan Hayes put Ireland in front from the penalty spot against the hosts Holland. However, the Dutch faught back to win 2-1 with Tonny Trindade de Vilhena scoring twice. Peter Burke from Buncrana was the substitute goalkeeper and Ireland conclude their fixtures against Albania on Tuesday.
