Finn Harps will have Stephen O’Donnell available for this Friday night’s trip to Athlone Town.

The Manor man went off injured after pulling up during the second half of Saturday night’s victory over Mervue United. But despite appearing to be in some discomfort, O’Donnell actually aggravated a toe injury picked up in pre-season and later confirmed his availability for this weekend’s game. It’s a major boost for Harps for whom five players made their home debuts at the weekend. Director of Football Felix Healy says the new faces are settling in well.

“It’s a young team and it’s a decent dressing room - there is decent enough belief in there,” he said. “Sometimes you can get a sense of things and Peter (Hutton) and I would be quite happy with the dressing room the way it is.”

Meanwhile the Finn Harps AGM was held in Ballybofey on Sunday night at which shareholders were told the club recorded a loss of €8,777 for 2011. The club has net liabilities of €313,187 and accumulated operating losses of €647,395.
