All-Star defender Karl Lacey is an injury worry for Jim McGuinness and Donegal ahead of the Ulster Championship after picking up a hamstring injury in Ardara.

Lacey had to limp off at half-time after pulling up with a hamstring strain in the Ardara v Four Masters All County League encounter.

With just five weeks to the Ulster Championship preliminary round tie between Donegal and Cavan in Kingspan Breffni Park on May 20th, the injury to the Four Masters man will be a big worry for Jim McGuinness.

Ardara came out on top in the game by the minimum margin, 0-11 to 0-10 after Michael Doherty hit seven first half points to have the Donegal Town men ahead 0-7 to 0-3 at the break.

The win means that Ardara have a 100% record, winning their first three games and lead the table.

In Division Three of the All County League Aodh Ruadh got their first points in a 2-9 to 1-6 win over Naomh Padraig, Muff, thanks to two goals from Diarmuid McInerney, one from the penalty spot.
