Donegal county panellist Conor McManus has left Kilcar and re-signed for his native club Clonakility in Cork.

McManus played for Jim McGuinness’s side in their three Dr McKenna Cup games in January against University of Ulster Jordanstown, Cavan and Derry but was not involved in the Allianz National League Division One campaign.

With Kilcar, McManus topped the All-County League Division Two last term and helped his side to the Raidio na Gaeltachta SFC semi-finals, where they lost to eventual champions Glenswilly at MacCumhaill Park last September.

McManus, who won a Cork SFC medal with Clonakilty in 2009 and got a couple of runs for Cork in the McGrath Cup, has left the north-west for work reasons as he is now employed in Limerick.
