St Eunan’s College from Letterkenny are chasing an All-Ireland double after their U-15 side made it through to the FAIS Umbro Minor Boys Cup final thanks to a 2-0 win over St Benildus College from Stillorgan at Gortakeegan on Tuesday.

St Eunan’s College from Letterkenny are chasing an All-Ireland double after their U-15 side made it through to the FAIS Umbro Minor Boys Cup final thanks to a 2-0 win over St Benildus College from Stillorgan at Gortakeegan on Tuesday.

Oisin Hassett opened the scoring at the home of Monaghan United inside of two minutes and the lead was doubled when Kieran McPherson netted on 26 minutes. St Eunan’s will now await the winners of Thursday’s second semi-final. Leah Victoria Park in Tullamore, Co Offaly, will host the meeting of Munster champions De La Salle from Waterford and Connacht kingpins, St Joseph’s College from Galway.

The Oscar Traynor Centre in Coolock will be the venue for the U-17 side from St Eunans’s as they take on De La Salle from Waterford in the FAIS Umbro Junior Boys Cup final this coming Tuesday, kick-off 1pm. St Eunan’s defeated Dubliners Ratoath College last month 3-0 in the semi-final.
