Kildrum Tigers lost 2-1 in Douglas, Cork city, against College Corinthians. Raymond McDaid’s side were two down before having Matthew Crossan sent off and although Oisin McMenamin scored a last minute penalty it was too little, too late for the St Johnston side.

Closer to home, Drumkeen United also failed to make the quarter-finals when they lost 2-0 to Verona FC from Blanchardstown.
