The Ulster Senior League has confirmed that Convoy Arsenal have withdrawn from the league.
They informed the USL secretary, Mark Duffy on Saturday following a club meeting.
The decision comes after Convoy Arsenal failed to field in their last league game against Derry City Reserves. They were also due to play Letterkenny Rovers last Wednesday night but that game was put back to last night (Monday). Convoy had really struggled this season, losing all six of their league games - scoring only two goals and conceding 41.
The USL executive committee will meet tomorrow night (Wednesday) to decide the knock-on effects from Convoy’s withdrawl.
