There was just one game at the weekend in the Ulster Senior League with Derry City Reserves beating Swilly in Ramelton.
Swilly Rovers 0
Derry City Res. 3
Derry began the game brightly with Keith Ward setting the tempo. Swilly's defence stood strong for the first 25 minutes under intense pressure from the visitors who went in front when Jordan Allen finished off a sweeping move.
Derry got their second goal when Conor McDermott managed to race clear of the Swilly defence to slot coolly past Gareth Wade.
Derry continued their pressure in the second half with Swilly not working Mark McElhinney in the Derry goal. Derry soon found the break through again when Conor McDermott got his second and Derry's third effectively killing off the game.
