Kilmacrennan schoolboy Richard Kerr had has best weekend to date at round 5 of the British Motostar Championship at Knockhill. Scotland at the weekend.

The 15-year-old quailified in 10th position on his first visit to the tight and twisty Scottish circuit and finished race 1 in a great 9th place, in a field of international and vastly more expierienced riders and followed the result up with an 11th place finish in race 2, after getting up to 7th in the opening laps onboard Bob Wylie’s moto 3 machine.

The team can now hopefully build on the success of the weekend and look forward to round 6 of the championship in two weeks’ time in Brands Hatch.

Richard would like to thank all his sponsors for their continued support and to Bob Wylie for the bike as the 15-year-old continues to learn each circuit and gain that valuble experience needed at this top level and with the right help and support there’s no doubt that this talented schoolboy can go far in his chosen sport.
