Successful Tir Chonaill AC Primary Schools cross-country
Pupils from 12 south Donegal primary schools participated in a most enjoyable and well run cross country event on Friday 26th September in the grounds of Donegal Town Rugby Club, at the Holmes near Donegal Town. Tir Chonaill A.C. hosted a series of six races that were greeted with glorious sunshine and some exciting competition.

Pupils from 12 south Donegal primary schools participated in a most enjoyable and well run cross country event on Friday 26th September in the grounds of Donegal Town Rugby Club, at the Holmes near Donegal Town. Tir Chonaill A.C. hosted a series of six races that were greeted with glorious sunshine and some exciting competition.

Prizes were presented to the first 20 individuals and first small, medium and large school team in each race.

Thanks were extended to the over 200 participants, to the teachers and parents for their support n encouraging the children to participate, to the numerous Tir Chonaill AC officials who planned and organised the event and to Donegal Town Rugby Club and land owner Billy Graham for use of excellent facilities.
