What have Donegal Gaa players Frank McGlynn and Martin O’Reilly; Jason Quigley and Michael Galagher from the world of boxing; Martin Penrose, Tyrone GAA; Johnny Dunleavy Cork City soccer captain, plus pretty much every athlete that has come to the fore in Donegal in the last 40 years got in common?

The annual primary school athletics at Finn Valley is the answer and indeed it has been a learning and educational experience for thousands since its inception 44 years ago at MacCumhaill Park, Ballybofey, and now located on the Berlin Blue track at Finn Valley across the river.

Once again there is the opportunity and integration of wheelchair event to add to the programme. It all kicks off at regional level in the coming days with finals on May 28th.

The action on the final day gets under way at 11 a.m. with competition as follows:
