The talented Magee badminton family from Raphoe continued their great success in Irish badminton by lifting national titles at the weekend.
Chloe Magee won her eighth National Singles titles and seventh National Mixed title with her brother, Sam.
In the all Donegal Singles final, Chloe got the better of her young niece, Rachael Darragh, 21-13, 21-14, who has shown great promise to justify her recent selection on the Ireland U-17 team for the Europeans.
Brother Sam also won the Men’s douybles with Jonathan Dolan, who won the Senior Men’s title, defeating Joshua Magee in the decider.
Rachael Darragh was also a runner up in the women’s doubles partnering Jennie King as they went down to Caroline Black/Sinead Chambers.
All in all a great championships for the Magee family.
