First time winners the order of the day at Deane’s
The Dressage League started at Deane’s Equestrian Centre last Sunday the 17th November, with a number of first time winners.

All riders were well turned out with plenty of spit and polish and lots of elbow grease in evidence.

In Class 1 three riders tied for 1st place, Ingrid Grollke, Anita Kelly and Tracey Alcorn on their respective horses Santa, Rocky and Valentino.

Lily Kelly got a great score of 60% on her pony Fairytale in the junior section of Class 1.

Class 2 saw another set of firsts this time to Jodie Fergus with Stracomer Watson and Louise Burke with Fairymount Sadat.

Class 3 produced lots of riders and in the end Phoebe North was on top with a fabulous score of 69.31% followed by sister Katie on All That Jazz in 2nd and Vera Keatings with Bushfield Lady in 3rd.

Best turned out Horse and Rider went to Jodie Fergus and Stracomer Watson, with this prize was sponsored by Anita Kelly.

The Dressage League continues for the next three Sundays. Rosettes given for first place each Day. Also a prize for best turned out each week sponsored by Anita Kelly.

To qualify for the league Horse and Rider must compete in 2 Sunday plus the Final.

An extra class will be on 8th December will be a Fancy Dress Pairs competition.
