Letterkenny 24/7 members compete in Omagh Duathlon
The main race last weekend was the Omagh Duathlon where 15 members competed with Kevin Connolly as the chief D’equipe and Bernard McDyre as the triathlon Ireland motor bike supervisor.

The main race last weekend was the Omagh Duathlon where 15 members competed with Kevin Connolly as the chief D’equipe and Bernard McDyre as the triathlon Ireland motor bike supervisor.

The best performance went to new club member Brendan Murphy, who finished a credible seventh in his club debut.

Club members also took part in the Buncrana half marathon in difficult conditions and Martin Devenney did his first Try-a-Tri in Sligo and finished third.

The Try-a-Tri event which is an introduction to triathlons is being held on April 27 in Aura has over 100 entries and further entries can still be made on the triathlon Ireland website www.triathlonireland.com for a limited time only.
