Letterkenny Rugby Club are celebrating their 40th anniversary this Saturday with a host of action taking place at their club grounds at the Glebe.
Everyone at the club would like to invite all past and current members as well as anyone with an interest in the sport to come down to Dave Gallagher Park on Saturday for what will be a fantastic showcase of local and provincial rugby.
The Festival of Rugby will be starting at 9.30am the Mini’s will be showing what the future holds for Irish Rugby.
At 11am the youth teams from the club will be playing their travelling counterparts from Coleraine.
Then, there will be a 12.30pm kick-off where all in attendance will see the 2nd XV take on a team of Letterkenny Veterans.
It will be a tough task for the young 2ND XV side against the wealth of experience and freshly replaced hips of the Golden Oldies.
Then, at 2.30pm, there will be the main event of the day. The Ulster Juniors side will be taking on the best of Donegal Rugby.
A select team from around Donegal will throw everything against this Ulster side in what is sure to be a dazzling display of top quality Rugby.
Food and drink will be served throughout the day at the newly open clubhouse and no doubt, there will be many a recollection of past glories to be heard.
