To end a week which saw an investment of over €50,000 from the Sports Capital Fund into Rowing in Donegal, Loughros Point hosted the 5th regatta of the season.
Like those before it, there was a fantastic entry witch resulted in 33 very competitive races.
Loughros introduced a two new category’s at intermediate ladies and men’s. Like all categories these were hotly contested. The closest race of the day being in the Intermediate Men’s category where Inver just shaded victory by .6 of a second over local Club, Loughros Point. A big congratulations goes to the local club for the manner in which they organised a very efficiently conducted regatta. All eyes and oars now turn towards Inver Port, next Sunday when all clubs do battle again.
