In the Hickey Clarke and Langan Interfirm 5K road race members running for their respective work places ran well with Aidan Callaghan achieving a personal best.

On Saturday the local pool based race in Limavady attracted quite a few members to the user-friendly course. Paul Dillon and Jarlath Duffy performed best of the club members, showing solid form heading into the main season. Clara Quigley on her sprint race debut was very impressive and the female section of the club continues to go from strength to strength.

The main club event of the season takes place on Saturday in Gartan with the Sprint Triathlon staring at 11 a.m. Entry is open until Thursday on the Triathlon Ireland website. We are expecting an entry of around 200, travelling from all over Ulster and beyond, and it promises to be an exciting race on this demanding course. Spectators are asked to come early as parking on site is limited. Once the race starts entry to the event site will be by foot only for health and safety reasons.
