Congratulations to the 2nd year girls of Coláiste Cholmcille Ballyshannon who have qualified for the All-Ireland Basketball semi-final this Friday 9th May in the University of Limerick.

Congratulations to the 2nd year girls of Coláiste Cholmcille Ballyshannon who have qualified for the All-Ireland Basketball semi-final this Friday 9th May in the University of Limerick.

Having coming out on top in the North West region, beating Letterkenny, Sligo and Mohill, this qualified them for the All-Ireland playoffs which were hosted by Castletroy College The girls had three exciting wins making them one of the four strongest teams in the country at B level.

They will play Dunshaughlin CC, Co. Meath in the All-Ireland semi final this Friday 9th May at 3pm in the University of Limerick. If they win this game they will compete for an All-Ireland gold medal at 5pm that same day. We wish them every success in the finals and hope to see an All-Ireland gold medal in Coláiste Cholmcille next week!
