Friday evening last was warm, sunny and calm as Race 2 of the Tir Chonaill AC Spring series got away from starter Richard McCarthy’s whistle. Brian McCabe and Philomena Gallagher were impressive winners.

Success for club athletes at Carney 10k

Congrats and really well done to all our athletes at the Carney 10k on Monday last. The race was ran in glorious, warm sunshine and with a cooling breeze on the last 2k, making it a very pleasant experience. There were some category prizes, several pb’s and all with great performances. The Ardara 10k on Sunday next is the next outing for the clubs road group. It’s a one o’clock start and Donal Haughey guarantees a war m welcome and a well organised event
