Donegal Town Basketball Club’s four teams returned from Holland with some terrific memories and a first and second place.
The U-18 girls won and the U-16 boys were runners up with b the U-16 girls and U-18 boys performing well.
Playing American and European opposition it was a great lesson for the three clubs that came together - Donegal Town BC, Blaze BC and Liby Dynamites from Louth.
U-18 girls captain Ruta Belazentyte said: “A huge thank you to all our sponsors - Tascomi, The Credit Union, The Abbey Hotel, The Sandwich Company, The Stateside American Restaurant, the parents who joined us on the trip and to the Coaches and Trip Organiser Kevin Sinclair without them the trip wouldn’t have been possible.”

The Under 16 boys began their tournament with match against Back2Basics basketball academy and met the same team in the final.
U-16 Player John McIntyre said: “Back2Basics proved to be too strong in the final, winning 37-29. The team had a great tournament and would like to thank Kevin Sinclair the opportunity to participate in the competition.”
