Ballybofey native Larissa Muldoon is part of the travelling Irish squad for tonight’s Women’s RBS 6 Nation encounter in France.
Ireland led Wales 10-3 at half-time in their opener last Friday in Ashbourne, Co Meath, but the match was abandoned due to a frozen pitch.
Muldoon, who is from Cappry and a student in Cardiff, was among the Irish substitutes having recovered from breaking a leg in a club match in October in Wales. She is among the substitutes tonight again but is expected to play a part having played in all five of Ireland’s fixtures in the competition last season, when they won two of their five fixtures.
France’s women, who came second last season behind England, recorded five tries in a 32-0 dismissal of Italy on Sunday. Saturday’s game is on at 5.30pm at the Stade du Hameau in Pau.
