Large crowds turned out for the County Finals in Glenswilly last weekend and the supporters were treated to a feast of Gaelic football. First up was the u10's between Glenswilly and Gweedore with the Glen boys just shading it by a short margin.

Next was the girls u12 between Cranford and Glenswilly which was also a very exciting game with the Cranford girls coming out on top. The final game in the u14 girls between Glenswilly and Cranford proved to be a real cracker with both teams locked in a draw at full time. Extra time had to be played to decide this one with the Glenswilly Girls scoring a goal in the dying seconds to secure victory

Great credit must be given to all the teams and their managers for providing a great days exciting football. A special word of thanks to the co-ordinator Sean Bonner and the Glenswilly/Churchill committee for hosting the finals. Also all the officals who helped out on the day.

INDOOR SOCCER

The Indoor Soccer finals took place in Trialough, Fanad and well done to all areas who took part. Thanks to Sean Dorrian and the Fanad Committee for hosting the event. The winning teams will compete at the Ulster finals on the 25th June in Derry.

The winners go foward to the Ulster Finals in Derry on June 25th.
