Robert Kee, a family run business operating four stores in Donegal, is one of the national winners in a business development competition.
The IE Domain Registry (IEDR) has announced the 20 companies which will share in its €150,000 Opmitise 2013 Prize Fund. The 20 winning companies were selected from over 350 entries by an independent panel of judges comprising leading Irish business and technology experts. These companies will each receive tailored e-commerce advice, strategies and practical support to begin the process of upgrading their online presence.
Congratulating this year’s Optimise winners, Mr. David Curtin, Chief Executive of IE Domain Registry, said: “Ireland has a terrific brand in the .ie domain name and it’s imperative that Irish businesses use it to fulfil their potential online. We know that companies in Ireland remain slow to capitalise on the Internet as a sales channel, and that small companies need a helping hand to do so. With the Optimise Fund, IEDR wants to make a real difference to small business growth online.”
Robert Kee, based in Laghey, operates a Eurospar Supermarket, Garden Centre and Petrol Station as well as an ATV and Power Equipment Centre. There is also a branch of the HTV and Power Equipment Centre in Letterkenny.
