The Feast of St. Eunan Mass will take place at 7pm in St. Eunan’s Terrace. Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Philip Boyce. Everyone is very welcome to come along.

The Johnny Doherty festival opens tonight. Opening Concert @ 8.00pm.


Dublin

Ann Quinn opens solo show at Taylor Galleries, Dublin. “The Place Where I Stand to Look Out Over This World”, an exhibition of new work by artist Ann Quinn, who grew up in East Donegal, opens next week at the Taylor Galleries, Dublin. The exhibition runs from September 23rd to October 8th.

Dunfanaghy

Rising Stars Variety Concert, Dunfanaghy - a Rising Stars Variety Concert in Holy Trinity Church Hall, Dunfanaghy in aid of Holy Trinity Church Dunfanaghy Restoration Fund.  Doors open at 7.45pm and the show starts at 8pm.

Killybegs

Brendan (Bobby) Boyle is running the New York Marathon on November 6th,  to raise funds for the Donegal Cancer Bus.  He will be hosting an event in the main bar of the Bay View Hotel on Saturday, September 24, at 9pm.  There will be a raffle and spot prizes during the evening. Music and food served. This will be an evening of good fun and craic. All proceeds to Cancer Bus.


Derry

Paddy The Musical starring popular Irish singer Tommy Fleming opens a two night run this Saturday at the Millennium Forum, 8pm.

Sponsored Walk in aid of Cardiac Services, Kinlough

Manorhamilton

The famous old bicycles of yesteryear and their riders will be out in force at noon in Manorhamilton and its surrounds when Leitrim’s first ever High Nelly Run in modern times takes place today. The Run will start at the new Glencar/Manorhamilton GAA pitch on the Carrick Road at 12noon. Refreshments after the event in the Bee Park Community Centre.
