There has been a huge outpouring of sadness at the sudden death of Coleman Kerr, late of Killeen, Ballyshannon.

He was a prominent member of the Aodh Ruadh GAA club, contributing to both the playing and coaching side. He coached the u-12 and u-14 teams and was co-manager of the u-16 girls team. He was also the child welfare officer with Marlins Swimming Club and served on the Board of Management of Rockfield NS.

Before his arrival in the Erne Town, Mr. Kerr was an active playing member of Fanad Gaels GAA club and played soccer with Kerrykeel FC.

His remains reposed at his late residence with removal on Sunday morning last going to St Patrick’s Church for 11.15am Funeral Mass, followed afterwards by interment in the Abbey Assaroe Cemetery.

He is survived by his loving wife Deirdre (nee Donagher), children Cliona (15) and Oisin (13), mother Susan, sisters Mary and Anne, brother Gerard and a wide circle of family and friends to whom deepest sympathy is extended.
