Irish legend and former soccer star Packie Bonner joins UPMC Beacon at National Ploughing Championships

UPMC Beacon, operators of UPMC Beacon Hospital Dublin and four satellite clinics attended the National Ploughing Championships in New Ross Co Wexford this year. The were joined by a very special guest, former Irish Soccer star Packie Bonner.

Former goalkeeper Pakie Bonner joined the UPMC at their outdoor exhibition on Wednesday 26th in the Health and Wellness section of the trade show from 12pm-2pm. Members of the public visiting the stand got the chance to meet the sporting legend along with UPMC Beacon Chartered Physiotherapists, who were on hand to discuss injury prevention and management and offering simple fitness tests.

UPMC Beacon was showcasing its various hospital services at the UPMC Beacon Hospital, Dublin and UPMC Whitfield Cancer Centre, Waterford as well as its services at outreach centres in Naas Co Kildare, Wexford Town, Ardkeen, Co. Waterford, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and Drogheda, Co Louth.
