Movement on the property market

The sale of nine property lots in the north of the county, as well as one sea front property just outside Bundoran, in recent days has signalled positive movement in the property market in the North West.

Last Saturday a public auction for the nine lots took place between Milford and Letterkenny and featured mostly residential properties and a commercial site.

Estate agents over seeing the auction, Sherry FitzGerald Rainey, said eight of the nine lots went under the hammer on the day and a sale currently being agreed for the outstanding property.

A sea front property in Tullaghan village in North Leitrim, just 3km from Bundoran, had a reserve of €15,000 and fetched €37,500 at Tuesday’s sale.
