Minister for Sport Michael Ring TD

The Minister for Sport, Michael Ring TD, is carrying out a number of engagements in Donegal today.

His busy schedule starts at noon, with the turning of the first sod and signing of contracts for the new Twin Towns swimming pool at the Finn Valley Centre. Then it’s off to visit Finn Harps’ new stadium at 1pm, followed by the launch of the Harps Schools Initiative at the Balor at 1.20pm.

The Minister will then travel to Convoy for a quick inspection of the pitch at St. Mary’s at 2.30pm after which he’ll proceed to Fintown for the launch of the Railway Tourism Initiative at 3.15pm.

At 4pm, Minister Ring will visit Fr Tierney Park in Ballyshannon and at 4.30pm, he’ll meet the Ballyshannon Regeneration Group at the Tourist Office.

The hectic afternoon finishes with a tour of Waterworld Bundoran at 5pm.
