Maggie McGarvey: The death of Mrs. Maggie McGarvey, Bunaniver, which occurred at Letterkenny General Hospital on Tuesday, 22 September sees the passing of a well known and respected member of the community. He was originally from Inis Oirthear Island and he passed away in 1975. In her youth she spent a number of years working in the Lagan Valley. She reared a large family, eight boys and one girl, and she was a dedicated and good wife and mother. She was also a kind and gentle individual and she will be sadly missed.
