Frosses dancer Shaun Kelly joins the ranks of Riverdance in the Gaiety Theatre in Dublin this year.

Shaun began dancing at the age of fourteen and is a member of the McNelis-Cunningham School of Irish Dancing in Donegal.

Shaun has competed at Ulster, All Ireland and World Championships. He has toured with Ragus in Europe and completed two seasons at Busch Gardens, Virginia dancing in Celtic Fyre. an accountancy student at NUIG, he is currently taking time out to pursue his dancing career. He made his debut with Riverdance in Australia and is delighted to continue dancing with Riverdance at the Gaiety Theatre this Summer.

Riverdance, composed by Bill Whelan, produced by Moya Doherty and directed by John McColgan is now in its eighteenth year. The show started in Dublin in February 1995 and since then has been seen by over 23 million people worldwide.

Riverdance is currently back in Ireland for its ninth consecutive summer season at The Gaiety Theatre performing there until the second of September. This year the show has a brand new performance schedule which has been specially created to facilitate tourists as well as the local audience better and some reductions in ticket prices.
