Even Bishop Boyce is keeping a close eye on Donegal’s ‘Voice’ contestants

The Bishop of Raphoe, Philip Boyce, is understood to be among a new legion of fans keeping a close eye on the popular TV show, The Voice of Ireland, and is keeping a sharp eye out for fellow Downings man, Shane McLaughlin and Roisin Carlin.

The singers also have other friends in high places and a touch of divine intervention, with Fr. John Joe Duffy mounting a highly effective text and social media campaign for both.

Fr Duffy told the Democrat: “It really is great to see two Donegal people still in The Voice - we will have to do this all over again on Easter Sunday night and hopefully we will see two Donegal people battle it out to the very end.”
