Saturday, October 27 is a day Mary O’Sullivan from Greencastle in Donegal will never forget.

It’s the day she got married and won €32,700 on the National Lottery’s Winning Streak TV Gameshow.

Happily, with the help of her friend, Ciara Ni Chleirigh from Blackrock, Co Dublin, everything worked out on the day.

Ciara, whose Mum works with Mary, happily agreed to skip the wedding and appear on the Winning Streak TV Gameshow on Mary’s behalf, winning €32,700 for Mary on the show.

Our pictures show Mary in Donegal on her wedding day and Ciara on Saturday’s Winning Streak show (with hosts Marty Whelan and Sinead Kennedy).
