Donegal County Council has second highest deficit
Donegal County Council has the second highest deficit in the country, €12.3m, but is owed more than twice that, €23.9m.

Donegal’s accumulated deficit of €12.3m is second highest, behind Sligo’s €12.9m.
The Council’s Director of Finance, Garry Martin, acknowledged that the figure is high but said the situation has been steadily improving.
