members of the Donegal Electoral Area Committee have agreed the distribution of €100,000 from the Development Fund Initiative for 2012.

The allocations for this year are as follows:Donegal Family Resource Centre Community Garden €6,000; Killybegs Information Centre €4,000; Comhairle Paroiste Ghleann Colm Cille Muirlin River Walk €10,000; Ballyshannon Bundoran Neighbourhood Youth Project €2,000; Abbey Centre Ballyshannon €10,000; Erne Enterprise/Tir Hugh €5,000; Glen River Walk €6,600; Kilcar Tourism €5,000; Slieve League Walkers €3,400; Killybegs International Carpet Making and Fishing Centre €5,000; Ballysaggart Restoration/Memorial Committee €5,000; Sea Sessions, Bundoran €8,000; Bundoran Parish Graveyards mapping survey €3,000; Rory Gallagher Festival €10,000; Donegal Bay Rowing Committee €10,000; South West Donegal Community Radio €3,000; Scoil Chaitriona Parents Committee €2,000; St Catherine’s Marching Band, Killybegs €2,000.
