Democrat Wedding event showcasing in Kee's Hotel
The Donegal Wedding Showcase of the year will be held in Kee's Hotel on Thursday evening, 25th February. Proudly hosted by the Donegal Democrat, the Wedding Showcase has already secured a full array of exhibitors from all across the North West and beyond and will be held in three sections of the hotel.
Our special guest at the showcase is award-winning wedding fashion designer Una Rodden. Una, who is the proprietor of Una Rodden Couture in Belfast, will be on hand to give all brides, grooms, mothers of the bride and other fashion advice on the latest 2010/2011 bridal and fashion trends, body shape advice, the ‘no nos’ in wedding fashion, accessorising advice and much more.
Una, who was crowned Northern Ireland Woman of the Year in fashion and Overall Woman of the Year award says: “I am originally from Inishowen, so it is lovely to be able to return to Donegal to attend the Donegal Democrat Wedding Showcase in Kee’s Hotel and give any advice I can to local brides.”
A new attraction to this year’s event is our Living Dolls display which will be located sporadically throughout the venue. Models will be dressed in the finest of 2010 trend bridal dresses/ groomswear/ fashion outfits. Also featuring at the showcase is our new attraction ‘Living Dolls’. Statue-like models will be located sporadically throughout the venue and will be dressed in the finest of 2010 trend bridal dresses/ groomswear/ fashion outfits which will be changed regularly throughout the evening.
Kee’s Hotel will also be supporting the event with a fantastic arrange of wedding buffet food for all visitors and hot & cold punch, on arrival. The latest wedding accessory – the Candy Stall will be on show for you to sample. Not only that, but Kee’s Hotel will also have three different types of live music playing on the night so this will indeed be a great night out for everyone and if you are a bride to be – a night not to be missed. The Donegal Democrat Wedding Showcase, Kee’s Hotel, Thursday 25th February will begin at 5 pm and will end at 9 pm. Admission is free.
