TERMON: The ladies defeated Glenties last weekend and are now through to the Gaeltacht final against Glenfin on bank holiday Monday next in Ardara at 5pm, all support welcome. Ladies training continues at Errigal College on Friday evenings 6.15pm.
U-7s have no training for the next three weeks. Well done to the U-12 girls who beat Moville on Saturday last. The minor girls had two comprehensive victories over St Eunan’s and St Michael’s last week. Hard luck to U-14 boys who lost out to St Eunans in the Feile competition.
There were no jackpot winners last week. The lotto draw takes place in the Milbridge this week and the lotto coordinators are Gerard Grant and John Doherty.
There is a monthly meeting on Tuesday next at 9pm in the Lagoon.

NA ROSSA: The seniors travelled to Falcarragh at the weekend to play league leaders Cloughaneely and were very unfortunate not to come away with full points. Best performance of the season so far earned them a well deserved point as the game finished in a draw, 1-08 to 0-11.The reserves lost to the same opposition 0-11 points to 0-4 .Both senior teams have no game this weekend.
Last Saturday the U-14s travelled to Dunfanaghy to play Burt in the County Division 2 Feile final, but eventually lost out 2-4 to 6 points.
Last Friday evening the U-12s continued their good start to the season with a very good win against Naomh Ultan. This Friday they will play Naomh Brid in Dooey at 7pm. All players to be in Dooey for 6.30pm sharp.

NAOMH CONAILL: There was no winner of last week’s lotto. Two prizes of €50 went to Donal Brennan,Glenties and Bridie Doherty, Glenties. The numbers drawn were 7, 8, 10 and 12.The jackpot now stands at €2,200.
The U-12 A and B teams played Ardara last Monday evening. The A team won 1-10 to 1-09, while the B team had a comfortable victory. They are at home to Four Masters this Friday evening at 7pm and at home to Killybegs next Monday at 7pm.
The U-16s had a comfortable victory away to St Naul’s last Monday evening and they are away to Aodh Ruadh this Thursday 30th April at 7pm. The minors beat Ardara at home 4-12 to 2-4 in their first league game of the year last Wednesday evening.

Our U-12s were away to Naomh Colmcille last Wednesdat but lost 0-6 to 2-6.
Our ladies had no game at the weekend due to county trials. The next game will be away to our namesake Naomh Padraig of Muff on Sunday 3rd May at 12 noon.

The seniors won away to Glen last Sunday but the reserves got beat. Seniors and reserves play away to Robert Emmet’s in the Championship on Sunday at 1.30pm and 3pm. A big crowd of support would be very appreciated.
U-14 girls had a comprenhensive victory over Naomh Mhuire on Thursday evening last in Triaghalough with good performances from all the girls and Fanad dominating the game. Their next game is away to Milford this Thursday evening at 6.30pm.
An U-10 blitz will take place in Portsalon on Friday at 6pm, any enquries contact Aidan. Michael Sweeney, Keelan Herron and James Sweeney were this week’s players of the week.
Minors had an excellent 3-10 to 0-5 victory away to Termon last Monday evening with Seamus Friel scoring an excellent 1-8. Shaun Callaghan and Brian McVeigh got the other goals.

BUNDORAN: Bundoran seniors had a hard-fought 1-7 to 0-9 win over last Sunday in Gaelic Park. The reserves had a more comfortable 1-11 to 0-10 victory. There are no games this weekend.
The U-16s wound up their league campaign in Kilcar on Monday evening, losing by 3-15 to 3-6. Kilcar also provide the opposition in their first round Donegal Adventure Centre championship tie on Monday May 11th in Gaelic Park. The return game in Kilcar will be on May 25th. Bundoran began their Britton All-Sport league campaign against Naomh Naille in Mountcharles on Wednesday, April 29th. They are out again on Friday when they take on Four Masters in Gaelic park with the throw-in of 6.30pm.
The U-12s lost out to Ardara last week and played Killybegs on Tuesday evening. Many of this team represented St Macartan’s NS in their Cumann na mBunscoil semi-final win on Monday morning against Glenties NS and now proceed to the County final in MacCumhaill Park. This game is scheduled for the early afternoon of Saturday May 9th but with First Communions in Bundoran on the same day it is hoped to be able to move this game to a more suitable time or date.
The second round of the News and Views Town League was played on Saturday moring in a breezy Gaelic Park. Dublin recovered in style from their defeat last time out to beat Kerry by 7-10 to 2-5 in a game which became very one-sided once the metropolitans gained control in the second half. Best for Dublin were Miheal McCaughey, Cian McEniff and Daniel Mulhern, while Oisin Walsh, Cody Granaghan and Rachel McGee starred for Kerry. The second game was a much closer affair with Galway retaining the league’s only 100% record with a 5-3 to 4-2 victory over Tyrone. Galway’s stars were Conor J McManus, Brian McHenry and Aoibheann O’Callaghan, while for Tyrone Rhona McEniff, Richard L Thien Hai and Gerry Oates starred. The final round of games will see Galway take on Kerry while Dublin play Tyrone in a critical tie which will see the winners play Galway in the final.
This week’s Bundoran GAA Lotto numbers are 2, 4, 12, 13 and 18. There was no outright winner. Bundoran Senior team won both their reserve match and senior matches against Burt last Sunday. In the reserve match Bundoran won 1-11 to 10 points and the first team won by 1-7 to 9 points.
NAOMH MHUIRE: The ladies played away to Kilcar last Sunday afternoon and they were defeated 4-10 to 2-8. They travel to St Naul’s this Sunday with a throw-in at 12 noon.
The numbers drawn in the weekly lotto were: 10:13:15 and 18. There was no outright winner and consolation prizes went to Catherine McCafferty, 5A Loughanure; Clare Montanini, Mullaghduff; Rosaleen Duffy, 31 Loughanure and Anna Ni Rabhariagh Mn Doire Nia Shua. The jackpot is currently at 4,780 euro.
In the League matched with Buncrana at the weekend, the Reserve Team played out a draw with the Inishowen side. Final score Naomh Mhuire 1-9 Buncrana 3-3. In the Senior Match it was again so near, and yet so far despite a favourable wind in the second half. The home side literally kicked the game away with many scoring opportunities wasted. The Buncrana team played well into the breeze in the second half and with less position got the vital scores. Final score: Naomh Mhuire 0-9, Buncrana 0-10.
A Minor Board Meeting will take place in the Clubhouse, Mullaghderg at 8.30 p.m. on Friday, 1st May.
Congratulations to the under 14 team who captured the County Feile title defeating Letterkenny goals in the final. They now go on to the Ulster Finals in Derry. The under 14 girls team lost to Fanad Gaels on Wednesday, they put up a creditable performance in this League match. The under 11 team were defeated by Naomh Brd in a League match.
The minor team got off to a swimming start in their League Match with neighbours Dungloe on Wednesday.

The U-12 girls played Aodh Ruadh in Tir Conaill Park on Saturday but lost by 4-3 to 2-2. Their next game is on Saturday 9th May away to Naomh Conaill in Glenties.
The U-14 girls played Aodh Ruadh in Ballyshannon on and went on to win by a point in a nail-biting finish. Next game is against St. Nauls at home with the date yet to be confirmed. On Sunday, the girls travelled to Carndonagh to participate in the County Feile. Four teams entered the event, Four Masters, St. Eunans, Fanad Gaels and Convoy. Four Masters played Convoy in their first games but got beat by three pointd. The second game was against St. Eunans and we won this game by two points. In the final game against Fanad Gaels, drawing at half time Fanad Gaels over powered us in the second half, they went on to win the competition.
The U-16 girls played their first game of the season in Tir Conaill Park against Killybegs on Tuesday and they had a very convincing win.

The adult teams made the short trip to O'Donnell Park on Saturday evening last with both teams going down to St Eunan’s. The adult teams are at home to Naomh Padraig, Lifford, this coming Saturday evening with the reserve match fixed for 5pm and the senior match at 6.30pm.
The U 12s played Termon at Pirc na nGael on Wednesday night last. Both teams served up some great football with the visitors coming out on top. Next match is away to St Michael’s on Thursday evening.
The U-14s played Naomh Mhuire in the Final of the Division 3 Feile on Sunday last. In a close contest Naomh Mhuire came out on top by two points. Both clubs now go forward to represent club and county in the Ulster Feile Pil na nOg in Owenbeg in Derry on the 16th May.

Darragh Coll and Ciaran Cannon were excellent in defence, John Doran and Peter Doherty at midfield hit some excellent scores and with the forwards getting good ball Lee Blake notched 1-7 for a super display.
Our minor team notched a very good victory away to St Eunans on Monday night last. Gaels had good performances from Kevin Crossan, Mikey Harte James McGlynn and John Doran while Jamie Doherty hit some excellent scores. The final-score was Gaels 2-10 St Eunans 2-9. The next minor match is away to Milford on Monday night next.
The underage Hurlers from Tuarnafola, Limerick will be visiting the club over the May Bank Holiday. There will be coaching sessions, trips and matches, culminating in a match between Letterkenny Gaels and Tuarnafola made up from parents, players and past players (The Golden Oldies) at 5.30pm on the Sunday. Lotto results for the Week-ending 29th April. Numbers drawn were 9, 10, 12 and 20. Lucky dip winner was Tommy Kerr, the Glebe. Next weekend’s jackpot is €3,150.

The U-12 boys play Red Hughs on Wednesday night in the Cross, throw in 7.30pm. The VHI gaa cul camp will be held in Glenswilly between 13-17 July, the co-ordinator is Paddy McGinty. The mark the 125th anniversary on the GAA the club are holding a La le club on Sunday 10th May with a host of activities starting at 2pm while there will be mass celebrated at in the clubhouse on Friday, 8th May at 7pm.
