Breaking News: Fatal car accident at Mountcharles

Tragedy has struck in south Donegal with news overnight that a 19-year-old man has died following a car accident at Station Road, Mountcharles.
Gardaí have indicated that the single vehicle accident occurred at approximately 2am this morning on Station Road, Mountcharles.
Emergency service personnel rushed to the scene following the collision and since that time the road and area has been sealed off.
Christopher Kane, a native of Mountcharles, was fatally injured when the car he was driving struck a bridge at Station Road. His body was removed to Letterkenny General Hospital.
Three other male occupants in their 20’s were also injured. Their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
The road is currently closed pending the completion of an examination by Garda forensic collision investigators. Local diversions are in place.
