New Town Mayor: Ballyshannon native Danny Goan has recently been elected as the new town mayor, he will hold the position for one year. Over €1,500 has been raised for the benefit of the Heritage centre, from the election.

GAA Table Quiz: A table quiz in aid of the Killybegs GAA minor board will be held tonight, Thursday, in the Bay View Hotel at 10.30pm Sharp. The winners of last weeks table quiz were ‘the crooks in the corner’ with a score of 93 points.

Cruise Ships 2009: The Killybegs cruise line committee have confirmed that 11 cruise ships will visit the port in 2009, and that talks are ongoing to attract further liners during the course of next year.
