Donegal Town was bursting with Christmas atmosphere this weekend, as crowds made the most of the Christmas Shopping Spree.

There was music on The Diamond, from schools and other local choirs, and you never knew who you might bump into!

All of the shops ran special discounts, promotions and gave away great spot prizes as part of this very successful initiative organised by the Donegal Town Business Focus Group.

Yet again, the Spree brought loads of people to Donegal Town and encouraged residents to "Shop Local" and support local employeers.

Well done to all involved.
